Millennia Elementary is taking sustainability to the next level by joining the Orange County Public Schools composting program!

Students are helping reduce food waste while gaining hands-on lessons about environmental responsibility and stewardship. By turning cafeteria scraps into compost, these young learners are discovering how small actions can make a big impact on their school and community.

They’re joining 26 other OCPS schools in our composting program, helping reduce food waste and giving students a hands-on way to learn about sustainability!
