"Cherish the time you have with everyone and make memories when you can." 

That was the heartfelt message Water Spring Middle School Assistant Principal Andrew Schwartz shared with students as he reflected on the legacy of his father, who lost his life on September 11, 2001, while helping others. 

Twenty-five years later, his father's courage, sacrifice, and compassion continue to inspire a new generation. Through a personal and emotional story, Schwartz encourages students to value their loved ones, appreciate every moment, and remember the heroes whose actions continue to impact lives today.
