At Conway Elementary School, learning extends beyond the classroom walls. Thanks to an ongoing partnership with HDR, students have access to a thriving school garden where they can experience the science of growing food firsthand.

This summer, HDR volunteers returned to rehabilitate and refresh the gardens they helped install last year, ensuring they're ready for students when school begins. From planting seeds to watching vegetables and herbs grow, students gain valuable lessons that can't be found in a textbook alone.
