Over the the summer months, Arbor Ridge K-8 agriculture teacher Sean Nagy, student volunteers, families, and community members worked together to build a brand-new chicken coop on campus. The project brings chickens back to Arbor Ridge and creates new hands-on learning opportunities for students in the school's agriculture program.

From painting and installing fencing to helping with construction, students spent part of their summer learning valuable skills while helping create something they can be proud of. The new coop will allow students to care for chickens, collect eggs, and gain real-world agricultural experience right on campus.

The project is another example of how Arbor Ridge K-8 is helping students learn through hands-on experiences that extend beyond the classroom.
