During small group in my kindergarten class, a student suddenly yelled “¡Palabra mal!” (Bad word!) and pointed accusingly at his classmate’s iPad screen. She was on Amira, an AI literacy program, calmly practicing the word ‘fox.’

 

 

The boy gasped “She said F--!” very, very loudly. Much more loudly than the girl practicing. She removed her headphones, shrugged and repeated her word, “fox.”

 

 

Facepalm moment.
